What is CVaior?
CVaior is an AI resume tailoring workspace. It combines your resume, saved career knowledge and answers with a job description to create an editable resume and a downloadable PDF. The standalone ATS resume checker is free and does not require an account.
How do I tailor my resume to a job description?
Start with your current resume and the job post. Identify the requirements you can support with real experience, then make those details clear in your summary, skills and work examples. In CVaior, Job Tailor uses the job description and your answers to draft changes that you review before exporting.
Does CVaior add experience or skills I do not have?
CVaior is designed to work from the information you provide, without inventing employers, job titles, dates, tools or results. If a detail is missing, supply it only when it is true. AI output can still be inaccurate, so check every statement before using the resume.
Is the ATS resume checker free?
Yes. You can use the standalone ATS resume checker without signing up. It checks contact details, resume structure, experience detail and writing clarity. Tailoring a resume uses a signed-in CVaior workspace.
Does the ATS score tell me whether I match a job?
No. The standalone checker does not compare your resume to a job description. Its score reflects the checks CVaior runs on the resume itself. It does not reproduce an employer's ATS, predict screening decisions or guarantee an interview.
Does the free ATS checker use AI?
The standalone ATS score is calculated by CVaior's own rules, without sending the resume to an AI provider for scoring. AI is used in separate resume tailoring features, which have their own review and consent steps.
What happens to a resume submitted to the free checker?
The submitted resume is processed for the check and is not kept afterwards. A temporary report can contain short excerpts as examples and is available through a secret link for up to seven days. Saved workspace data and AI tailoring have different handling, explained in the Privacy Policy.
Can I edit the tailored resume before downloading it?
Yes. CVaior provides an editable draft and PDF export. Review the wording, factual details and layout before downloading. Keep a copy of your original resume so you can compare the changes for each application.
